A very popular and fun activity in Bilene is Kayaking on the massive Uembje lagoon, right on the shores of San Martinho Beach Club. The Lagoon stretches over 13 Kilometers, so you aren’t limited as to where you would like to explore. You can also paddle out in the shallows of the ocean where you may see a dolphin or two!

If you’re up for a challenge, you can choose to kayak across the entire lagoon to explore the various beaches of the Uembje, or head straight to the lagoon mouth that opens up onto Bilene beach. From here you can park your kayak and take a nice long walk south, along Bilene’s beautiful beaches to Turtle Cliff.

Kayak Fishing is also a popular activity to enjoy on the lagoon and on sea.
