SA Residents Can Stay In Mozambique For 3 Months From 2016

From next year South African nationals visiting Mozambique will benefit from a change to tourism visitation rules that will allow them to stay for up to 90 days on a single visit to that country. This follows an agreement between President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique and his South African counterpart President Jacob Zuma.

This change will prove ideal for owners of our sectional title villas at the San Martinho Beach Club™ as they can now enjoy their little corner of paradise a little longer.

The Tourist Visa is free of charge and is issued to holders of qualifying passports at all Mozambican border posts and points of entry. In addition, the border post at Ressano Garcia will operate 24 hours a day from next year.
