FACIM Trade Fair was a huge success

Marketing Agent, Marc Meistre, welcomes the Prime Minister of Mozambique, His Excellency Mr Carlos Agostinho do Rosario to the San Martinho Beach Club stand at the annual FACIM trade fair.

San Martinho Beach Club sales representatives Inacio Rafael Ivane and Dionisio Rodrigues Sepango, welcome the visitors to the resort’s stand at the annual FACIM trade fair.

San Martinho Beach Club participated in FACIM 2017, which was held in the Ricatla district of Maputo from Sunday 27th August to Sunday 3rd September. Now in its 53rd year, FACIM, as Mozambique’s annual international trade show, attracts exhibitors from within Mozambique and international trade delegations from the member states of SADEC and the EU as well as Brazil and China.

Owing to the fact that SMBC prides itself in offering investors a unique holiday lifestyle investment product through the purchase of one of our luxury beach front villas, this year we secured an exhibition stand within the premier Ricatla marquee, which housed Mozambique’s major corporate and state owned enterprises. In addition to the promotional material on display at our 9 square metre stand, our representatives distributed information leaflets to show visitors in other marquees as well.

Despite a slight hiccup with the show opening a day later than scheduled, due to the fact that the large Brazilian delegation got their dates wrong — which we all put it down to jetlag caused by their long flight from Sao Paulo — FACIM lived up to its reputation of generating good visitor traffic for exhibitors. Thanks to our location within the Ricatla marquee, SMBC generated interest from some serious would-be investors, not only for our beach villas but also for our two-apartment ownership share options; fractional and timeshare.

The highlight for our team was when the Prime Minister of Mozambique, His Excellency Mr Carlos Agostinho do Rosario, stopped at our stand and showed an interest in what SMBC was offering. For the people of Mozambique, especially the residents of the town of Bilene, SMBC is a source of revenue by attracting tourists and a source of employment as the resort expands in size.
